at the moment im feeling like im trying to revive the dead............ this is one dead blogg...... where are all the people out there !!!!! anyway its still 2 weeks before Lacey Ward arrives in Beirut.......... so at the moment ill have to tell you about my New Zealand day life...... well here was my story today.........
| Today i was in town and at the lights i met this girl who used to be in the same year group as high school anyway we were chatting and we crossed the road and like when we got to the other side this person started laughing really loudly like hahahahahhahaa and we both turned around and looked at her and we were thinking "What the hell is she on about.........." and then she pointed at me and was like "Your Hairs on Fire !!!!!" and then they drove off.......... Well the other girl i was with was like "Shes really Fat............. we're not" well it didn't really make me feel better but you would think being really fat and ugly that she wouldn't be yelling out teasing my sexy auburn red hair..... anyway we sat down outside warrens bakery and she was telling me all about this business that shes just joined and stuff and she seems really good at the moment. Well im not sure but i think that really fat girl is the same girl that as i was walking home one night this car drove past and this whole carload of drunk people hanging out the windows were like "Praise the Lord for Lacey Ward............." Anyway im very very offended because 1. I am never ever ever ever ever !!!!!!!! mean to people about their weight !!!! i dont make rude comments to them.......... 2. Im never mean to people about wearing glasses......... in fact wearing glasses can make people look even more phyically attractive........... 3. Auburn/ Red hair is the rarest hair colour in the world.............. so it should be a good thing......i dont even know why she teased me about it Anyway the last time serge was going on about someone having blonde hair....... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i taught him a lesson....... i was like "oh thats great that you love blonde so much because i paid a lot of money and i've dyed my hair blonde.......... just for you" and hes like "NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOO" hehehehehehehe and then he got all upset going on and on and on about how much he loves my colour hair........ and in the end after torturing him i told him that i hadn't really dyed my hair blonde i just said that because he was annoying me trying to tease me about this blonde hair......... Oh !!! and i was in lebs at the ski fields and serge was like 'Check out that chick......." well she was one of the Russian Prostitutes that are sent to lebanon and like the guys can pay to take their favourite prostitutes out for the day.............. anyway she just had long blonde hair at the back..... and anyway later on i saw her.......... and she turned around and she had the ugliest face it was like one of those pug dogs like her nose....................... and i was like "Oh my god........." then i ran after serge to ask him did he see that chick turn around hehehehehhee and he had hehehehehhe Anyway next time if i see that girl and shes at the lights and im not with anybody and she says something about my hair, im going to run and open up the car door and undo her seat belt and try and pull her out of the car hehehehehehehehe then she can learn that as well as being very passionate lovers this red hair thats on fire can also give me a very fiery temper heheheheheh i could just imagine the look on their faces like they so wont expect me to go flying at them and pulling open the car door and trying to pull her out the car hehehehehheehe anyway so far thats my evil plot for revenge with her at the moment ! | |||

Loving Life in Lebanon !
Monday, January 21, 2008
A supposedly neutral group started the silliness when it plastered the country in "I Love Life" logos to promote peace and national unity. But the Hizballah-led opposition correctly interpreted this as a critique of it's culture of martyrdom of and armed resistance to Israel. So the opposition responded with it's own knock-offs of the "I Love Life" campaign.
Just when you thought that these cliches had been rendered meaningless to the point of absurd, the original "I Love Life" people have been adding more slogans to their billboards. They include "I'm going to work. I Love Life" and "I'm going to a party. I Love Life" and "I've got a class. I Love Life." The idea is to encourage people to carry on with ordinary life in the face of intimidation from opposition blockades and strikes.
Which seems fair enough, except that the "I Love Life" people continue to be dishonest and claim that they are a politically neutral group, when in fact, they are part of the political problem. If you have any doubt that the "I Love Life" campaign is in bed with the government and its Sunni, Saudi, and American backers, just ask yourself, who in Lebanon has the money to support a massive ad campaign that's gone on for almost three months? The billboards practically smell like oil wells.
So in the spirt of too much honesty, here's a top-ten list of slogans you will never see in a Lebanese political ad campaign:
"My daughter wants me to pay for her nose job. I Love Life."
"I've slept with ten of my college classmates and four Russian prostitutes, but I'll only marry a virgin. I Love Life."
"All my friends are out of work or have moved to Dubai. I Love Life."
"I'm staying here. But I'm applying for Australian citizenship just in case. I Love Life."
"I'm staying here. And so is my Sri Lankan housemaid, because I'm holding on to her passport. I Love Life."
"I'm embarrassed to be an Arab, so I say I'm Phoenician, even though that civilization ended over 2,000 years ago. I Love Life."
"My husband has three other wives. Younger wives. I Love Life."
"My family has lived in Lebanon for almost 60 years but we still don't have citizenship because we're Palestinian. I Love Life."
"Foreigners keep screwing up our country, but we keep taking their money. I Love Life."
